ecomloop is run by Andrew Maury in Menlo Park, California. This page covers ecomloop.com and scan.ecomloop.com. Questions or requests: andrew@ecomloop.com.
What I collect
- What you send me: your name, email, store address and anything you write in a form, plus any exports or account access you give me for paid work.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. I see your name, email and what you bought, never your card number.
- The free scanner: it loads your store's public pages the way a shopper's browser does. If you ask for the report by email or for monthly re-checks, it keeps your email address to send them.
- Cookies and tags on these sites: the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag, which tell those platforms when someone visits, fills in a form or buys, so I can measure my ads; a first-party cookie that remembers which ad you arrived from; a one-time cookie that confirms a form was really sent; and on the calculator page, a cookie that keeps the price you were shown.
How I use it
To reply to you, do the work you asked for, send the follow-up emails your request or purchase leads to, measure which ads work, and keep these sites free of spam. I don't sell your information.
Who else handles it
Stripe (payments), Resend and Klaviyo (email), Meta and Google (ad measurement), Google Cloud (hosting), and the booking tool you use to schedule a call. Each handles it under its own privacy terms. Data that the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tag send for ad measurement may count as "sharing" under California law. You can ask me to stop that for you, or turn it off with your browser's tracking protection.
Store data from paid work
Order exports and account access you give me are used only for your project. I delete exports within 90 days of finishing the work unless you ask me to keep them, and you can remove my account access at any time.
Your choices
Email me to see, correct or delete what I hold about you, or to stop the emails. Every follow-up email also has an unsubscribe link.
