Why the two numbers differ

By default Klaviyo credits an order to an email if the buyer clicked or opened it in the five days before buying (Klaviyo's help center). Opens alone count, so the share of revenue Klaviyo reports can run high. Seeing it next to Shopify's orders tells you how much of that is email's doing.

What you send, and what you get back

  • Your Shopify orders export for the last 90 days.
  • Klaviyo's flow and campaign performance, with placed-order revenue, by week. Read access to Klaviyo works too.

Within 48 hours you get a weekly table, Shopify revenue next to Klaviyo's attributed revenue, and a one-page read on what it says about your flows. It's free.

Example only, not a real store: in a week where Shopify shows $40,000 in revenue, Klaviyo might report $14,000 attributed to email, a 35% share. The audit shows that share week by week, and a click-only share where your export allows.

If the flows need work

$2,500, fixed

I reconcile Klaviyo against Shopify, then build three flows: welcome, cart and post-purchase. They're live within 30 days of access, or you get the fee back. I measure them on the same weeks year over year against Shopify's orders. There's no revenue guarantee. Fixing attribution can lower the number Klaviyo reports, and in this season any 60-day comparison runs through Black Friday or January.
